good brush. dog still sheds however even though I brush her everyday! She loves the brush and it does a good job but doesn’t reduct shedding by 90%.

I think I have tried out every brush and comb on the market to control the insane amount of short little “pine-needle” hair that my Dachshund sheds. I just got this brush and it is AMAZING. I got two fistfuls of hair out on the first brush-through. That’s two fistfuls of hair that will NOT be going on my couch tonight. I’m so excited to have found this tool! The doggie likes it too. It’s like getting scratched and getting a massage at the same time. It’s true, the ejector does not push the hair completely, but if you give it a little shake, the clump of hair falls right out, so you can keep holding the pet with your other hand if you need to.

I did not think it would live up to the hype but it is INCREDIBLE!!! I used it on my pug/beagle mix and I can’t believe she isn’t bald with all the hair that came off. I am going to buy another for my mom’s two rat terrier who shed like crazy.

I learned about the FURminator tool from my vet. I wish someone would have told me about this years ago. I have 2 Pugs that shed all year round. With hard wood floors at home, we were Swifting or vacuuming every day, especially in the spring. We have seen a huge improvement in that and the dogs’ coats are nice and shiney and they really like being brushed. Great product for both long and short haired dogs.

The FURminator is exactly the same as the top half of a barbers electric hair clipper. The tool shears off the top guard hairs, not getting to the under, softer fur that is drifting around the floor in clumps. I have a Sable German Shepherd, The guard hairs are black, which are sheared off , with this tool. The lighter under fur is not combed with the FURminator. The result is, a blonde dog with no guard hairs.

This tool will work if you have a long, haired dog. The top, soft hair will be trimmed and groomed. The Fur,Hair extractor works great for cleaning the tool.

Amozon gave me the best price and the fastest shipping you could ask for.
